<p>Is it the subject? The composition? The photographer? Or even the equipment?</p>
<p>It&#8217;s all of the above.</p>
<p>It takes many elements coming together to produce an evocative and creative photograph, a moment in time.</p>
<p>Taught by master photographer John Teague, Shutterbug is excited to offer the course &#8220;The Photographer&#8217;s Eye.&#8221; Students will learn to create mood and emotion through controlling the composition and design elements within the camera frame. This course is the beginning step in using your camera as a creative tool.</p>

<p>Learn elements, such as aesthetic and environmental factors, that make a successful outdoor portrait. Also, learn how to use environmental factors like light and shadow to your advantage.</p>
<p>Most importantly, this class includes an afternoon of shooting on location (location TBA) as well as classroom instruction and critiquing your portraits.</p>
<p>Taught by wedding and event photographer Tom Chown, &#8220;Portraits on Location&#8221; is a fun and productive chance to learn all the steps of shooting on location.</p>

<p>Taught by Australian writer and photographer Helen Bradley, this class will teach practical techniques for editing different subjects from portraits to landscapes. By the end of class, you’ll have an understanding of what Photoshop can offer you as a digital photographer, and how to process your images effectively in Photoshop.</p>
